Mixed Media 3-D Snow People

         This project started as a lesson in value & then the student made it her own "Star Wars" style :)     

         It began with paint and then collage materials were added (fabric, wooden ornaments, paper).

Leaf Drawing; Contour & Space Practice

                                        This leaf drawing started as a lovely contour drawing 

                                        the young artist then added watercolor pencil to add 

                                        beautiful space and movement to the piece.

Hokusai, Mt Fuji printmaking project

Students learn to edition their work by using a master printmaking plate.

                                           Styrofoam serves as our "plate" for our printmaking design.
                                             A design is carved and the plate is carefully inked.

Many colors are possible with the same plate.
